Reflections On Palm Sunday

The entrance of Jesus in Jerusalem, acclaimed by the jews as king and Messiah only to be crucified some time later, is a perfect parable for one of the most commons actitutes we have in our daily lives. The jews, not seeing in Jesus the warrior king they expected as Messiah, and seeing that the restoration of the Earthly Kingdom of Israel was not going to happen, they couldn't or didn't want to know the reality of a Spiritual Messiah and the Kingodm of God inside of all of Us.
How many times have we received something as a blessing, and corroborating a short time after that it didn't meet our expectatives we rejected it altogheter as if it had no value at all, when the truth is the value of the object or event in itself, may not be the one we expected but that doesn't make it less valuable, in fact, it can be like Christ, even more valuable than what we expected.

Blessings in the Light of Christ and Sophia,

Senko
